EEGP School is the first art school in France to offer first-year students the opportunity to discover the art of temporary tattooing.
ince 2015, MARTY TATTOO has been hosting ephemeral tattoo workshops at the Angers School of Applied Arts and Design. These courses, taught by Marty, allow first-year students to discover the art of ephemeral tattooing, introducing them to various materials such as jagua and Australian ink, as well as the appropriate tools to create different and unexpected effects. These courses are very popular within the school. The students are getting involved and demonstrating real creativity for this new form of artistic expression within their curriculum, using the body as a support/medium… Alone or in pairs, students explore on themselves all the possibilities that ephemeral tattooing allows and are introduced to body art, a technique that requires rigor and precision.
A true societal phenomenon, tattooing remains a form of plastic and artistic expression that dates back to the dawn of time,” Marty points out Using a pedagogical framework that incorporates semiotics and art history, she introduces her students to the cross-cultural significance of tattooing By organizing practical workshops at the EEGP, she provides students with a hands-on experience in ephemeral tattooing, the oldest recognized form of body art. It was time to introduce it to the artists of tomorrow!
